I practice and teach Hatha Yoga in the style of Sivananda, a traditional and unadulterated form of yoga that pre-dates many of the yogas we see today and yet, which many derive from.
Literally translated the word yoga means Union; the union of ourselves and a greater energy or of our physical and our spiritual selves. It became synonymous with spiritual endeavour and self realisation. The asanas are a small part of the whole, gently leading the student into successful meditation, self realisation and karmic creation.

In the yoga lessons you will learn to still the mind to discover inner peace through breath work, relaxation and comfortable postures. You will learn the 12 basic yoga asanas and how to develop them, kapalabhati and anuloma viloma breathing techniques, proper relaxation and yoga nidra. Through this your meditation will become easier.

I teach private yoga classes reducing distractions and supporting in-ward focus, giving you personal attention and adjustments. With about 10 private classes most students can enjoy their own personal 1½ hour yoga practice with total confidence and deliberation.
